Power Steering pipe replacement help

Hi Guys,

Started replacing my power steering pipe as the old one fail on the MOT due to corrosion. I have disconnected both ends, slacken the pipe clamps so the pipe is free to be pulled but it seems impossible to get it out due to all the bends on the pipe ?

Do I have to remove the support as per attached photo or anything else to clear the way for easy extraction or is it just a case of patiently navigating the pipe out, also whats the best way to remove it from the top via the bonnet or the bottom ?

It'd probably help if we knew what transit you were trying to remove the pipe from...Mk6...Mk7..FWD...RWD, petrol/LPG, diesel, engine size etc... There's about a gazzilion combinations of 'em..

Take the top of the air filter and the hose to the turbo out, then it will be easier.
