transit sport attempted theft

went shopping yesterday, left my van in a very busy car park for 2 hours when i returned to the van all the door were unlocked and open ignition was smashed apart and attempted to get it running luckly they failed

left some damage to sort out but im guessing they used some kind of tool to get in as they unlocked all the doors and disabled the alarm on it whats the best way around getting better security on the van as i guess standard for is not that good
