Ok fellas ... as we know ,, the scum have become more effecient with modern technology .
I,m interested to see how other members have modded the OBD to make it scumproof { without giving too much away },,,,
Initially i just unscrewed mine and tucked it away,,, but latere realised thats not good enough,,,, now ive just cut the plugs of both my trucks..

You should hide the wires too, might stop him in his first attempt but he could in theory come back with crock clips etc.
You should get an alarm that senses someone's presence and has a loud siren because as standard once the door is unlocked , the van may be immobilised but he can sit in it for hours undetected.

Maybe disconnect the door lock, that should slow him down for a bit
Pedal box will stop him going anywhere.
Acid sprinkler system might make him think twice about stealing vans (probably best not to do that 1)

Mebbe a hidden switch on the starter remote wire ,, and/ orswitch on the battery earth link ?

Just remove or hide it, that'll stop most of them.
If they really want it, they will take it, but with all due respect they are interested in recent vans that are worth money, not older stuff
( especially if the con rods are outside the block . )

good point,,, though i do also have have a very useful little crewcab tipper that have a habit of disappearing round here
