Thanks mate,
I had one pin that didn't go anywhere (black wire, one at the end) I cut it and attached a piece of wire to it the earthed it to a bolt under the steering column.
Now when I lock the drivers door it locks all the doors and then unlocks all the doors.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but something isn't right.
If I'm here I need help!!!

Details for wiring elec windows /central locking using mk7 door looms on a mk6

On mk7 door loom plug. Located pins 12 & 15. Both of these are GND.

Pin 12 in the main GND on mk6 for elec windows & central locking & on mk7 for elec windows
Pin 15 is GND for central locking on mk7.

Strip away some insulation on the wires on pin 12 & 15. CONNECT them together & solder joint. Finally insulate, job done.

This is only required on drivers door. Passenger side does not require any modification.

My connector looks different to the one in the picture is it the same wires that need connecting?

From what I can remember of my mk6, press fob unlock button twice to unlock all doors.

No, fob is disabled when the engine is running.

There’s a fuse hidden on your steering column under your dash try that fuse or turn your ignition on and off 8x and your central locking will reset it’s self I also have a mk6

I know this threads dead.... but i still found it.

with that being said i followed this guide and it didnt work for me , so i started shorting all the wires and popping fuzes, i found for my transit mk6 with mk7 doors it was the wire next to the one arrowed, pleaese see my updated pic.
also i only get locked or unlocked, i dont get single door unlock or double door unlock,,, but i dont need that for my recovery truck, im just happy my windows and reemote now work without unlocking !

Although this is a very old subject I would like to add that I have just fitted electric conversion window winders to my 05 Transit. I did the drivers side first and could not get the window runners to drop down without doing a lot more work, I did manage to get the old winder out by forcing it past the runner. It did take a lot of effort and I did bent the runner but the window still moves up and down OK after I finished. I could not get the new wiring loom plug through the hole in the door. I did spend some time trying but in the end I marked each wire with two labels then cut the nine wires, fitted the loom then solders the wires back together. I tested the locking the door and I had the same problem with the unlocking immediately so I join the two earth wires together to solve the issue. The passenger side was easier because I use an angle grinder to cut the part of the winder off that is protruding through the door. Before I fitted the electric winder I used a 12 volt power to move the winder into the horizontal position then with the window lowered jammed in the middle using a small piece of wood as a prop I fitted the part that fits in window channel and slide the motor into the two bolt holes I then put in the 2 rivets. I had the same problem with the wire harness plug not fitting through the door. I had the same problem with the earthing but on this side I had to join the 3 wires that is in the bottom picture together. I could not believe it after reading that the near side door would not have any issue with the wiring. It always happens to me this special problems just my luck.

I wish to thank everyone who writes on these forums because this earth issue I had would have taken many more hours to sort out without their help. THANK-YOU FOR ALL YOU HELP, CHEERS
