Error codes P251A and P2563

Hello everyone,

Well my newly bought Transit is sick in some way... My mechanic has ruled out the head gasket, so that´s a relief.
But some codes keep coming back and some cant be deleted. See picture in danish

P251A - power take off enable switch circuit/open

P2563: Turbocharger boost Control position sensor Circuit range/performance
Status-72 (actuator stuck open)
Status-6F (No valid status available)

My mechanic says that there is absolutely no power when getting around 3. og 4. gear... after restart it´s back again. I can see by looking through the threads, that it is common, but I can´t see that there is a definitive fault... or is it the PRV and SCV problem... I´ve got the parts in my Ebay-basket... Is it a go?

I have an IDS on the way and it has left China! I can read that I should wait and do a PCM-update before anything else? I can also read that some have had succes by replacing the EGR? As I have ordred a blanking plate and the IDS is on the way, should I then wait for that, before I do anything with the EGR? I´ve seen on other posts that the actuator can be the problem, but I´m not sure if I know what variable vanes means. Do we take the turbo apart og is it down to outside moving parts?

Is it possible to clean and lubricate it?
I cant seem to find a new or refurb. actuator other than this one, but I´m not certian it will fit the 2.4 TDCI, 140 RWD

You have a mk7 140ps so you have an electronic vnt turbo and not the vacuum type.

Since it´s electrical, and I have the errors I do... what are the chances of fixing my current one? Can it be taken apart and cleaned and so?

I don´t suppose I need to go for the whole package, as I cleary heard the turbine/ambulance noise from the turbo

You can check yours and remove the cover to see if there is anything obvious that is stopping it work, also when you disconnect the arm you can move the rod to the turbo and see if it moves smoothly etc.

Turbo shouldn't make the siren noise although i don't think it means immediate problems.

Strip and clean before replaced.

About the siren... I had that in my Galaxy, and that was a brand new 2.0 TDCi back then. My children thought that there was an ambulance coming all the time...

Yes i did on my mk7 transit 140 the turbo itself felt OK when i span it but i found the triangular gasket was black on 1 side so i believe it was blowing and causing the sounds, i did replace the whole thing and never heard it again

Now that is interesting sometimes mine sounds like a siren other times it whistles, when started from cold you cam smell exhaust fumes in the cab till its up to temp so I might check the gasket out, do they bolt from on top or below?. N

Both lol iirc, this 1 is mk7 140ps turbo, yours may be quite different ?
