Anybody had a look at this yet? is it doable or is it a full axle swap job
specifically does the caliper bracket bolt to the end plate or is it welded to the housing

Haven't been able to compare the two side-by-side yet, but the rear axle mountings on FWD look the same to me, wondered when this one would get asked. I would think a complete axle change would be necessary on both F & RWD
...hopefully a future upgrade :P

Ok well I had a crawl around under a 140 t350 manual tonight and the caliper mounts are welded to the axle tube this one also had abs but thats probably not an issue, the bloody discs and callipers look tiny compared to the size of the drums on my 135 t350. Ok I supose Nighthawk will be the only one that can answer this but are the master cylinder bores the same from the late 06 Mk6 to the 4wd mk7

The only advntage with discs and pads on rear is quick service turn around, if you carry a load drums and shoes are still tops when it comes to rear brakes, however the effect up front is different

HGV trailers with pads are nothing but trouble
