Mk6 Jumbo 350/90 knocking noise on over run

As above developed suddenly... All well one minute then next a knocking on the over run...
When in gear (any gear)
Clutch pedal down and it stops.
Not engine speed related and stops at around walking pace...
Can't see anything obvious on the propshaft (damage to donut or uj's...

Anyone fancy a game of guess the noise lol.

Possibly a poorly diff pinion/crown wheel..??

Are you able to jack the rear end up and turn the prop shaft/wheels by hand..??

All feels smooth with one wheel lifted.... Though with engine running and in gear still get knocking on over run...
Flywheel has already been converted to solid from dual mass by previous owner.
Feels/sounds very much up at the front.... Drives perfect when under load without any noises etc.

If it sounds up the front I fear it may be the gearbox...but only on the overrun is a bit strange..
