Recently had all four glow plugs replaced after two were duff. Made a lot of difference. Cold starts are a lot smoother, less 'knocky' and so far the mysterious judder hasn't returned...

Does yours seem to get started off by rough roads more?

I feel if I hit a pot hole it starts juddering lightly and slowly gets worse until it's like a knocking noise, gearstick bouncing around and a thumping feeling at the front.

Mines a 110 '08 FWD, done so much now I'm debating whether it could just be a bad bush somewhere on the bottom arm throwing a wobbly.

So far I've done;
EGR
PRV
SCV
MAF
Reconnected boost hoses
Cleaned inlet..

Its not a bushing. Either a mapping problem on certain vehicles either mapping problem on all transit's.
I tell you, when cruise control is enabled juddering goes away.

Last resort for me is a PCM update by Ford at some point. I struggle to live with the issue unfortunately.

blanking egr did not solve problem although it never seemed quite so bad, could be coincidence as doesnt do it all the time. anyway, it had to go into local garage as developed another fault which made it almost undriveable, [ i removed egr blank before it went in] turbo hose had split, but he also regen dpf, that seemed a lot better for a week but its back again, so probably coincidence again. only fault code i have now is 1 glowplug out. I dont have cruise control so thats not relevant to me. so the bloody mystery continues. it does only seem to happen between about 1500 and about 1800, but doesnt do it at all over 2000rpm and only does it when driving along, i.e. not when just revving it

Why don't you ask vantuner? Most people say good words about him. Tell him that with cruise control on, it doesn't do a thing ;)

Vantuner is aware but says its an issue with the Ford mapping, mine doesnt have CC so its really annoying, my whole 20mile commute is at 50mph

Same going on with mine A lots sound the same sum how ? Any chance of the juddering from timing chain slack worn guides ? Are the engines around the same miles ? 165 ish to 200 ish tho ? But mine has a boost build sound with out the boost ? Thinking of trying the oven cleaner on the turbo vains be for the timing chain ? Any body think I might be on the right track ?

No idea what's up with yours, mine was on 125k - mine sounded absolutely fine.

Sold it and got a T5, which is literally god tier to drive compared to a Transit.
