correct if its a 430 you carnt, but you can if its only a 350 transit :D

but even removing these has the headaches to go with it and you need to get them remapped to remove them as they are security locked :( i have tried a few like this

Is it a Minibus :?: :?

I can't understand why a van has a 56mph limiter if it's not over 3500kg :?

If it’s a Minibus it should be 62 mph when I had the limiter removed by ford dealer I had to get it logbooked as campervan first mine had a tachograph fitted it read 62 mph but on the speedo it read 67 mph when it cut in

Car: Transit 2005 2.4 tdci 350L VAN-3.55T
Speed limitter: 90km/h (56mph) because finland
Tachograph: Stoneridge 2416 fxp

Ford dealer is not solution. Car inspection is every year and I have to turn on the limiter every year

You can't legally take it off in EU as all good vehicles over 3.5t have to be limited to 90kph
or find some way to lose the 1/2ton and then you can lose the tacho

Yes a bit different for vans my 460 twin wheel bus could only have taco and speed limiter removed by Ford dealer when I got the logbook back as a motorhome if the op van is a 350 the speed limit may have been put on by the original owner the local council vans near me are limited to 56 even the customs .
Before I had the limiter removed it was limited to 62 mph on the taco but read 67 mph on the speedo but as op is in Finland it’s different I thought it was the same all over Europe

Same in EEC and EA but as he’s is a van then it falls under goods which is 56mph or 90kph across Europe
