Mk7 2011 2.2 fwd

Postby Markyce » Sat Sep 01, 2018 6:08 pm

Hi all, been lurking for a while just trying to learn. I’m very good with motorbikes but useless at 4 wheel stuff.
The van is my sons ex AA van, it drives great except sometimes it just stalls , the tick over can be erratic . After looking on the forum at this it seems it’s fuel pressure control. A friend connected up his laptop with Delphi diagnostics and no fault codes came up, there are no lights showing faults on the dash. The van has been well serviced and has just in last months had a full filters and oils service. I’m in Hampshire but it seems that to properly diagnose Pcv etc problems it needs to be checked by someone who has correct gear, do any of you know anyone in Hampshire who could look at it for me ? Thanks

It's possible the PRV has blown causing the stall, and duff SCV causing blown PRV and the hunting/erratic idle.
