Funny smell

Postby Kealanc » Mon Sep 03, 2018 12:48 pm

Hi, I've got 2012 2.2 transit and just looking a bit of advice. 3 days ago I put blank on egr valve and left wires connected. Van driving far better as in low revs it was stuttering. Engine is quieter and stuttering has left. But today 15 mins into my journey I started to get an eggy smell. Was looking to see what best course of action would be and if anyone else had same problem with blank on egr valve. Thanks in advance

Aye, reckon a check of the battery vent pipes might not go amiss.
