I would like to mount the towing hook from my 2006 MK6 to my 2010 MK7.
Will the towing hook fit to a MK7 ?

I know yer supposed to get the extra bits but I'm on my 2nd mk7 and both have been wired to rear lights with no problems but mind you I've only done around 540.000miles like that so maybe its just luckv8dave wrote:richgold wrote:v8dave wrote:The bcm was not designed for the extra load of the trailer although with this being a commecial vehicle it probably should have been.

Ford designed a wiring addon for towing so that the bcm does not need to do the extra work.
The ford bypass relay unit lives in the cab behind the step liner on the side opposite the jack storage.
