Replacing repeater on a jumbo

Postby imageoven » Thu Sep 06, 2018 4:13 pm

My nearside indicator repeater light is hanging off, snapped mounts that appear to be screwed from inside the wing. Its the one mounted to the metal of the wing rather than the little one under the mirror that some have. Do I need to take off the wing to replace it or do I take off the ecu...
Mine has been silicone sealed around the edge but not sure if that's just someone's previous repair?

Edit; 2007 Mk7 ELWB RWD 350 100PS

Thanks Karl.
Where is the 'inner wing' I had a peer up from underneath in the wheel arch - I thought it was all solid steel and I didn't see anything to remove, or should I be looking into the engine bay...I just see the ECU in the way and then another steel inner panel - I'll have to go back and look again. google isn't helping me here.
