Mk6 jumbo sagging

Postby Tjdmanandvan » Wed Sep 12, 2018 11:58 am

Hi guys great forum here i always find answers to my problems here apart from this one

I have a mk6 t350 jumbo that generall sits an inch or two lower on driver side rear compares to the other side without load

However with a load the drivers side noticably dosent hold the load compared to the other and sags quite low to the tyre

Have had a look under at leaf spring/shock area with no real tell tale signs

What would cause the sag shock or leaf spring

Thanks in advance

The springs control the ride hight and all the shockers do is control the rebound that’s why they are called dampers your rear springs will have gone weak also check front coils for snapped coils

As dumper says, nowt to do with shock/damper.

Spring has lost its temper ( no its not upset ) most likely.

Best to thoroughly check for cracked or broken rear leaf spring and/or front coil, might not be obvious.
