Mk7 Head light masking for EU driving (Help)

I hope someone can help, I have search and search but all the links \I have found are dead!

Has anyone the info on masking the MK7 headlights for EU driving?

I bought some plastic lense covers (clip on type) I found a template somewhere online but it wasn't to scale, once I'd managed to resize it to actual size I then cut pit in black vinyl & applied to the lense covers. I've read that the glue can damage the factory light lense & as I have to drive abroad regularly I wanted an easy on/off solution. I should have the templates saved on my pc somewhere, I'll have a look tomorrow & see if I can upload them or failing that I could email them to you.
