2002 MK6 EGR valve and inlet manifold swap ovwer

Hi I have a 2002 Mk6, 120ps, rear wheel drive, 2.4 engine, Reg. Number RF02 KWC

My plastic inlet manifold is leaking (we did a smoke test and it leaked badly) I am struggling to get a replacement inlet manifold at reasonable cost, the part number is YC1Q9424BG.

Apparently from 2003 onwards the design of the inlet manifold was changed as was the size of the EGR valve.

Is it possible for me to retrofit the inlet manifold and EGR valve from 2003 to my older 2002 engine? If so will i have to also replace the rubber hoses?

I believe the 2 different EGR valves are physically different in appearance and size hence i would have to replace the inlet manifold too.
