Postby Tpoles95 » Wed Sep 19, 2018 9:41 am

Hi,

Im going to change the discs and pads on my van. i just wondered will I be able to lever the pistons back in the caliper or will i need a clamp to twist them back in?

Thanks

They just push in and if your fluid is at max then it might overflow at the filler

Hi,

I always open the valve bleed (connected to a hose and a reservoir) while pushing the piston back. This makes it easier and avoid filler overflow...

I'd be more worried about him attempting changing discs if he think front pads need winding in
