Mk7 heated front screen not working all the time

So my mk7 transit has a a problem where the heated screen works when it wants too, it’s quite frustrating as I’ll push the button and sometimes it won’t work at all the screens completely cold all over, but I’ll do it another day and it’ll work fine as it should..
I haven’t had the van during the winter but wanna make sure it’s okay for the winter so I check it regularly but it’s very hit and miss, is there anything to check? I’ve checked all the connections, fueses and relays and what not but they’re all good, I know it’s had it’s a replacement front screen in it’s time, is this the cause?

I checked all four on both sides, power gets to them sometimes but not every time you push the button
