Transit mk6 non start

hi, I have a 2004 mk6 transit laying up for a year on a hill pointing up , new battery fitted , new starter fitted, new glow plugs fitted, 2 relay changed and wire fixed. but still won't start

l thanks for your relay i did buy reader but it didn't work on it not sure why, it was only a cheap 1 but it did say it should've worked but didn't (working on my other cars) what is happening is the glow plug light keeping flashing. that's why i changed those but no joy, I'm have nightmare with it. ANY HELP would greatly appreciated.

What reader is it..?? Mk6 Transits are not OBD-ll compliant so most new readers will not work. F-Super is one that will....also Forscan and IDS.

Glow plug light flashing (is the eml) and will have stored a code, is there any fuel in the fuel filter? Have you tried easy start?

thank for relay, yeah fuel in fitter, yes tried eazy start , it trys a bit to go but no big grunt out of her as if it was going to go, if you know what i mean. like the starter kicks in you can hear it clicking, but nothing , i'm totally lost like this van has only 815000 miles. any help on things to try or what's wrong are greatly appreciated as noone wants to come out and look at it.

Is the pats light flashing when you try to start it (red light near the clock)

Download forscan buy elm327 off ebay or find someone close to you and talk nice to them or bribe em with cans of beer.

F super and elm327 can be picked up from eBay or scantool direct for less the 20sovs just make sure you get the elm327 for ford/Lincoln/mazda.

So does the van actually turn over or just clicks, maybe the starter is shot.

thanks for the reply mate, new starter fitted, new glow plug , new battery , new relays and wiring fixed, now all fuses checked and checked for vols, fresh diesel in fuel filter.
going a order new f-super and elm327
