Postby thepor » Thu Oct 11, 2018 9:38 am

Hi Guys

I am new with my transit as well in this forum and i need help. My transit comes with key fob and i try to PROGRAMMING THE REMOTE CONTROL with 8 times turning the key to II position but nothing happens; in fact after make the 8 turns from 0 to II nothing happens means doesn´t lock or unlock any doors before i went in second situation which is i have 20 seconds to program the fob. Could it be the fuse that controls the system?

Any suggestions will be most appreciate

MK6 Doors unlock after locking

Postby thepor » Thu Oct 11, 2018 7:06 pm

Hi guys

Discover the issue really. I discover the 2 fuses under the steering column and after i stick 2 new one´s the key fob doesn´t work (probably battery) but when i locked with the key it unlocks immediately. If i go to lock for the passenger door and leave the key pressed down it will lock that door and the slide door but i hear lots of noises inside like locking, and unlocking and then stops closing only the slide door and the passenger door and sometimes the back door. If i try to lock with the key trough the driver side it only locks that door, but if i leave the key in locking position after a couple of times will lock only the driver door.
I nightmare really guys i need help please as i am new with ford transits as i am delivery driver and i need desperately of the central locking .

many thanks

Check the fuses I believe they are around the back of the steering column key cycling should indeed work

guiys the problem is

if i try to lock the driver door i have to hold the key I have to hold tight as i can hear the others doors lock and then immediately unlock. if i go to the passenger door i have to hold tight 6,7,8 times , the slide door sometimes close sometimes not, and the back door i can hear it lock and then unlock. so in conclusion the passenger door locks if i old tight, the slide door sometimes , and the back door doesn´t lock as well the driver door. If i lock (with the key) the driver door only that one remains lock, all the others remains open.
