Air con stops working on MK7 2.2 63 plate

Hello,

I'm having trouble with the air con on my 2014 MK7 2.2 155 RWD transit, VIN WF0FXXTTFFDK84401.
It has done 231000kms.

It will work perfectly for about 5-10min, sometimes more, and will then stop working. By stops working I mean that it hardly blows through the vents. If I turn the fan right up it sounds like it's blowing hard (it makes a blowing noise as it should) but hardly any air comes out. If I put my hand to the vents they sort of feel cold but it's hard to tell.
It has been re-gassed and it's still the same.

I'd appreciate any help. I already took it to my local Ford garage and they said they couldn't find anything wrong with it which is ridiculous.

Sounds like the electronic "blend actuator" may have died.

Sounds like the heat exchanger matrix in the heater box is dirty, when the a/c is on it gets covered in frost which blocks it.

I only have information for transits up to 2011 but the ford diagnostics I have a copy of do not include a check that the heat exchanger is clean.
You can only get to it by removing the heater housing, which is a normally a full dashboard out job.
