My 200ps has 106,000 on it and has only done 4k this year due to the pandemic, I hope it will see me out when I plan to retire in 6 or 7 years time.

Having driven a mate's MK8 recently it was OK but I would miss the engine.

I am not surprised it was an expensive option, some dealers did not want to take my order worrying I might cancel. From memory I think it was £1500 extra for the engine.

got it on 26k 2 years ago, only ever carried eggs all its life, and now on 93k up and down the motorways carrying me and nothing else lol, love the mk7 over the customs, so much nicer to drive
