Does anyone know a fix for MK 6 clocks?

Postby dan83590 » Thu Oct 18, 2018 2:21 pm

My dials keep failing intermittently so I guess there is a joint or something gone on thw circuit board.

Speedo stops
Tacho stops
Temp gauge stops
Fuel ok
Give the clocks a whack and everything comes back on before failing again!

yes common fault dash board / clocks need taking out and the solder joints on back of clocks needs touching up with solder basicly all down to dry joints

Easily spotted or will I need to search for the dry joint myself?

All sorted. A fairly easy job if you have a steady hand.
