I put a stainless steel exhaust with a side exit on my last van and you could see it clearly in the mirror it looked really bad a night when I gunned it but it never failed mot emissions were always well below the limit

My custom doesn't smoke, the exhaust finishes underneath by the axle so probably stone chips my floor :lol:

Yeah Loot my mk8 the same Ford must have done it so disperses so don’t look like a dirty diesel when been followed :lol:

Thanks guys, you've put my mind to rest. I changed the oil today and she sounds perfect after a quick run out, think I will do a six month change from now on. what came out was quite clean but despite my best efforts I still got half a litre down my arm :lol: and found the old filter didn't have a rubber seal on it so that could account for the small leak i had.

Did you change the air and fuel filter?

yes mate, was arse clenching on the fuel filter as I have seen the need to be towed stories and I am only an amateur. thankfully all good following advice of the forum
