Front Fog Lights Mk6

Hi Guys i have a 2001 TDdi Mk6 Transit it has only rear fog lights no front ones, to install the front ones i need just the lamps and swich and simply plug them ? is there any wire pre installed? ore is more to do?. thanks..

Have a look up on the chassis rails behind the bumper the wires may be tocked away up there.

The mk6 fog lights are the same as the mk6 escort so if yours getting them from a junkyard you can look for both transit and escort with them

generally unless you have electric everything the plugs for the fog wiring wont be there, but its not hard to wire them thru a relay.also the escort ones have a slighty narrower screw fitting so you need to cut a tiny bracket out of a bit of tin or something

I think that I have the genuine ones in my garage somewhere, bought for the Mk6 and never fitted

I'll have a look if you still want them, when you've had a look for the wiring
