Postby Danish-welder » Sun Nov 18, 2018 1:30 pm

Hello everyone.

I just swapped my single seat to a double seat in my Ford Transit 300S van from 2011.
Apparantly i didnt think about there was an airbag in the single seat.
Obviously the airbag lamp i now on, is there anyway i can switch the light of orden brigde it so the light goes of again..? :)

Thanks in advance!

Some have side curtain type airbags.

You'll need IDS or Forscan to change the BCM/RCM airbag configuration.

Arh okay, thank you!
I proberly need someone with the correct equipment in the area to assist me.
I have read somewhere that i am able to put in a 3 ohm resistor in the socket to make the computer believe theres still a airbag in place - is this true?

Sorry for the Spelling mistakes in first post.
The damn auto correct is set to danish, so it changes All Words to rubish :D
