Central locking problem on my mk6

Postby Henstock164 » Sat Jan 19, 2019 12:54 pm

Hi everyone, I've a 53 plate transit and the drivers door and side door are deadlocked, the passenger door and rear door I've managed to open but can't get the others too, I've read on here about some wiring in the rear door which can break up, could that be the problem? I've also read that you can short out two wires behind the wing mirror but that then kills the deadlock completely, I don't keep any of my welding equipment or tools in the van overnight so that's not really an issue, someone help please I'm desperate!

Have you checked the two C/L fuses, taped to the loom, up under the steering column :?:

1997 Mk5 SWB 115 Minibus 70ps Di (Gone, but not forgotten!)

2008 Mk7 SWB T280 Medium Roof 85PS 2.2 TDCi - Also Vantunered

Hi mate yes, I checked the fuses first, they're both fine.
