How are you doing the scuttle? Are you removing the screen to replace whole thing or just cutting the new panel up and weld it in under the screen without removing it?

Of are you just going to put a ratchet strap over the bonnet and wings and use it as it is in the bottom picture?!

I removed glass and change front pannel . I put all things to see how its looking. But when change pannel under screen you must change and dashboard i think. My cuestion is my mileage meter is electronic from what engine in mk 7 i must bring dashboard yo fit with my harness

I was referring to the scuttle ( the piece under the screen where the wiper motor arms come out) as you can leave screen in to do it but you need to cut the mk7 scuttle piece lengthways so it fits under the screen without removing it. But now I see you have the screen out I presume you are changing the whole piece as the mk6 scuttle won't fit the front properly as you need to put a mk7 wiper motor in aswell. I was checking you was aware of this? :D I have a lot of experience in doing facelifts on mk6 transits. In this picture you have not changed the scuttle just the dash mount panel which you don't need to do but personal preference I guess. The scuttle needs changing mate. Once the dash harness is in your mk7 dash clocks register the mileage from previous vehicle. :D

Of just use the mk6 instrument cluster which I have done in the past then no loom required. They do fit with a little fiddling :D

Yes the piece under the screen with the wiper arm holes in is the scuttle panel. I have never put mk7 clocks into a mk6 I have only ever put the mk6 instrument cluster into the mk7 dash which is much easier to do. It has been done but involves alot of loom work. You don't need to change the loom to fit mk7 indicator stalks either so makes it easier to leave mk6 instrument cluster in it.

And you think that's easier and cheaper and quicker than doing a mk7 facelift?! His body is not simply bolted on, it's moulded to the cab and it's a walkthrough cab.

Yes I would rather do that and actually have a mk7 not just a look alike, in fact i would put it on crew cab chassis to be exact

Easy mate it was not my intention to get you triggered. If it's a low mileage camper with no rot then why swap everything over? Just swapping the body would be more work than doing a facelift. If all you want is to smarten up your motorhome with a later front it's ideal. That's all I'm saying. Some people havnt got the funds to just to and get another chassis cab or the time and experience to swap the body.
