Tachograph fitting

Hi guys,new here and been recommended to join.I wonder if anyone can help me,i have currently in build a 2008 t430 chassis cab,it left the factory in 2008 and was immediately downrated to 3.5 tonne.It appears to never of ran a tachograph,i need to install a tachograph but cannot find the wires anywhere that ive been told they are located,just wondered if anyone can assist,many thanks in advance

If it did not run a tachograph from the factory it may be missing the speed sensor mounting location in the gearbox.
It may also be that you have to get the tachograph fitted and calibrated by a properly approved and licensed body.

Hi v8Dave,thanks for the reply,getting it calibrated wont be an issue just trying to sort wiring locations if it even has them.
