Won't start

[Winnebago]

2007 VM transit motorhome.

Has been difficult warm starting gradually getting worse, though always started first time cold.
Now today won't start at all.
I may of worn out the starter motor now too trying to start.

Mobile mechanic couldn't start it and no codes coming up on the computer?

Mechanic says have to get new starter motor then go from there.

Thoughts ? I know valves can be a problem

I would start with changing the starter, I had a similar issue a few years ago where the van wouldn't start when hot, new starter problem solved
