Anyone from the Edinburgh way able to do pcm update?

Postby Robbiektm » Wed Apr 17, 2019 11:35 am

Hi, new transit owner, and I've got the dreaded hunting issue. 07 110/280 swb 99k. This is my first ever van so unsure if its a good un. Its a 110bhp modle however it's been mapped I think? So far I've noticed it hunts every so often. Very sluggish to pull away, almost like major turbo lag. Followed by a massive plummet of smoke out of the exhaust. Then it pulls well. Exhaust has also had the boxes removed as it was 'choking' its self up.? I'm looking to do the scv and pcv soon but I've heard it's needs ids software for pump learn ect. Do I need to take this to ford? Or are there any members that do this service? Thanks
