Fuse box?

Postby cswagon » Fri Jun 14, 2019 4:24 pm

Could somebody help me please?
I am looking for the fuse box that houses the fuse for the rear parking sensors on my '08 Mk 7
I believe it is number 63 but the fuses behind the glove box only go up to number 62.
Any help would be appreciated
Thank you
Graham

The main fuse box hinges down to reveal the bcm(body control module). The fuses are located on the bcm.

Continuing on the fuse box madness.

My reversing lights are not working. So, logically my first step is to check the fuse (33), hohoho!

It's under the driver's seat and apparently inaccessible without removing lots of "stuff".

Who knows the easiest way to get at these fuses?

Push the seat forward, and remove the battery cover. Fuses are nearest to the bulkhead.

It's a bit easier if you remove the seat, but it can be done.

Obviously, I mis-read the handbook.

Fuse 33 is under the bonnet, thanks all.

Unfortunately, it's fine. So I'm going to have to wriggle around underneath to get at the reversing light switch.
