Hi to you all just thought Id ask the forum first before I go make any stupid decisions I want to renew the discs and callipers all round on my 07 MK7 FWD and getting a bit cant see the wood for the trees kind of can anyone help me out as to the correct parts I need please :shock: :) cheers best regards.

Just put your reg into Euro car parts. If your doing it yourself make sure you are set up with the tools. The discs are mounted the other side of the hub so you need to take the hub assembly off and separate the disc off the back. You need a good torx set that will reach through the hole and a big breaker bar to crack the hub nut.

I would soak the bolts in release oil the night before you touch anything as you don't want to break or damage the bolt heads.


Calipers are a doddle to change.
