Fuel gauge showing empty & fuel light on...

Postby RussRST » Mon Jun 17, 2019 8:28 pm

Just got van back from garage, had mot, rear brakes done and front brake line done. Since picking up van the fuel gauge is showing empty. Where could i check myself that's a likely cause? I'm presuming a plug might of been disturbed somewhere?

Fuel sender is mounted on the top of the tank, they may have caught it and dislodged it?

Sure it’s got fuel in it? Maybe they ferris bueller’d it

I was thinking that if it was parked outside for a while, the light fingered brigade may have drained it  :?

It definitely had fuel in it and I put another £20 in when I left garage thinking they had just used what was in it. Checked all visible plugs and wiring and got no where. Can’t understand it...
