Driveshaft

Postby Philo-1 » Tue Aug 20, 2019 8:57 am

Hi all,

Managed to change a n/s CV boot on my transit using a cone,
But couldnt get it to stay on the cv joint to get the band on, so have decided to replace the driveshaft with a second hand one.
Does it make a difference if I buy one off a 5 speed version as mine is 6 speed.

Thanks

Just be mindful that they may have different spline counts on the inner shaft where it goes into the box/diff. Best to check before finding out you may have the wrong one.
