That's a good plan, but you need to only do that if they are going to read your map then modify it then write it back, if they have a generic map then it won't matter. And I'm guessing a good mapper will check and update as needed
Can you do successful pump and pilot learns? Again they will likely need doing afterwards. But it doesn't harm it to be done before.
