Pcm update ??

Is there a way of knowing if there is a pcm update for your vehicle

2009 2.2 tdci 115ps just over 51k and sweet as a nut ( so far )
2002 2.0 tddi 100ps. Over 205k still sweet . Now owned by Jay.

When I plug my ids in and go to module update online it'll check if there's a later software available :D

I'm sure someone once showed a way to find out on motorcraftservice but I can't remember :(
56 350 2.2 130ps mk7 with 2 side doors 8)
65 290 2.2 125ps custom with 2 side doors 8)
07 350 170ps
Ids v86 licence + v86.04 update + xprog here

On v86 with licence it will go online.

Just have it online and go to module programming then module reprogramming then pcm and it'll check it'll say there is an update or no update.

If it asks to update the vcm or anything like that then no.

That's a good plan, but you need to only do that if they are going to read your map then modify it then write it back, if they have a generic map then it won't matter. And I'm guessing a good mapper will check and update as needed 8)
