Converting to crew van

Postby littlespoon » Mon Jan 20, 2020 7:52 pm

Wondering if this is possible.
I’ve t260 swb mk7.
Family is getting bigger and id rather not change van.
It has a factory bulkhead, can that bulkhead be moved back towards the rear arches and refitted? Will it fit?
I want to fit a row of seats, prob 3, do I need a company to fit them or can i do it myself, and where would I have to get it certified, I guess I’d have to.
Many thanks
Has any one managed to do this before?

There was a guy on one of the face book groups selling the whole kit your looking for, factory crew seats DCIV (double cab in van) seats bulkhead carpets etc.
Have a look about there's always stuff on market place or eBay.
Check with your insurance re what they require when changing/modifying your van.
Some take your word for it, others want to be inspected, some won't entertain any changes at all from STD.
