Mk6 125hp will only start on easy start

Hi can any one help I got a mk6 125 hp transit, it will only start when I spray easy start, once it’s running I can drive it all day soon as I switch it off it won’t restart. I was told to Change the filter housing as there is a pump on top of the housing I have done that and it’s still the same any help is appreciated many thanks scott

Lift pump on the filter suggests it's an early 2.4 tddi

It’s 2.4 rwd 02 plate I haven’t done yet I’ll get them read and put a update

Check the crank position sender for swarf. Drivers side bellhousing to block joint - approx 1 O'clock position.

What code reader was used..? Mk6 Transits are not OBD-ll compliant so most newer readers are useless.
