Front Grille Badges MK7

Question from a non-mechanic, hope someone can help!! Need to change the two front grille badges on my MK7 transit campervan, ie the main Ford badge and the TDCI badge. Can anyone advise me if these badges just prise off the front of the plastic grille, or do I have to remove the grille and then remove any speed fasteners/nuts from the back of the badges? Hopefully I don't have to remove the grille! Thanks in advance.

The front Ford one (if genuine) will be self adhesive with two small pins on the rear that insert into little holes on the grill making lining a new one up an easy job. Old one should come off easily enough with a decent sized flat screwdriver.

Ford should give you a free grill badge. Its a warranty item, due to a manufacturing defect. Got mine replaced two years ago, and mines an 07 reg.

The TDCI badge is very simple and just clips on. Mine was all faded and I replaced it with this one for £3.99

I got a free Ford oval badge on mine a few years ago. Seem to think it was a ‘get in quick offer’ but no harm in asking. As said TDCI badge from eBay.

My 2009 Mk 7 (Burstner Motorhome) badge fell off at home a couple of weeks ago. I used stronger double sided tape to reattach it!
Must have been the hot weather in East Anglia!

Sorry to wake up an old thread but I'm confused with Grille Badge Removal.

I've just watched a You Tube video, the guy removed his Grille and there were two bolts behind it. He unscrewed these and the Badge came out.

I don't want to damage anything by attacking it with a screwdriver if it's bolted on.

What's the consensus on this one?
