Screen Only comes on automatic on the stage 5 mk7’s....

Amazing what you learn on here, my 2012 Focus screen turns on automatically too, I tried it tonight! :D

Just a quick update on this. It seems it must somehow be related to battery voltage. I was doing short runs to a local job (1-2miles) and the heated screen wouldn't come on. Since I’ve been working further afield (10+ miles) its working now. Its the same outside temperature as before but now its had longer to charge the battery im guessing so has more juice first thing in the morning.

Mines similar. I'm now traveling over a hour each way and screen switches on as soon as engine fires instead of 5 or 10 seconds later.
