MK 7 Water leaks

My Mk7 has just turned 50,000 miles & with it the latest problem, water leaking into the cab, faced with the we can look at it in 2 weeks time from the dealer, i set about it myself. It appeared to be coming through the roof seem above the rear of the cab (high roof model), ive sealed the joints with B&Q silocone. which i can highly recommend. Has anyone else had this problem ?

Had lots of problems but not had this one yet.
Choose life, Choose a Transit, Italian Job Done ,Its the Irish in me.....I only listen to Above and Beyond
Now with A 5 pot Beast.......I started off with nothing and I still got most of it left...!!
