I guess it's a mk6 with either the MT75 or MT82, is it front or rear wheel drive?

cant you take it Mike? this is a forum you know not a job, i work during the day and try to have a laugh of an evening to de-stress from the working day, are you paid to answer every question thats put on the forum ?or are you just passionate about it,say for instance like those community support police we have :wink:

exactly, only a forum :lol: oh and look for the allan key bolt on the left side of rear wheel drive about half way up the box and on the front of the front wheel drive box about half way up, not the huge(14or 16mm ones) but the only one thats an 8mm or 10mm

and dont forget to check your diff oil cos i forgot and it ran dry because of a leak and went bang on the M6 , cost me 800 to get recovered

hi jack - is there a drain plug on the diff so i can change the oil?? and what oil is it ep90 gear oil???

EP90 was good for 86/92/95 series of transits but it should NOT be used in the Transit 2000 series.

A specific oil was used in the Transits RWD axle, any non ford oils should meet WSL-M2C192-A

The correct oil is thinner than EP90
