Mk7 interior door lock button problem

Hello all,

I have a mk7 Transit and I have an issue with the interior door lock/unlock button on the drivers side. The central locking works fine but when I have been driving and come to open the drivers door it stays locked and the button won't unlock it.

I can lean to the passenger side and press the button there and that unlocks the van. So I assume there is just an issue with the switch on the drivers door and may need replacing.

I haven't had time to investigate yet but thought I'd see if anyone has had this before?
