VNT TURBO ONTO 115 MK7

Hi all. I’ve a 115 Mk7. I’d like to install a VNT turbo from a 140 onto my engine. I’ve got 140 injectors and fuel pump ready to install. Do I need the engine loom from a 140 too, or are the connections already on my own loom? Do I also need the ECU from a 140 or can I reprogram mine?

Some have the vnt actuator wiring connector there
56 350 2.2 130ps mk7 with 2 side doors 8)
65 290 2.2 125ps custom with 2 side doors 8)
07 350 170ps

Fuel pump is the same for all three Mk7 2.4's, no need to change unless it's fugged....which is unlikely.

Injectors are indeed different and will need to be coded and learns done after fitting.

As Loot says, some may have the turbo actuator connector on the loom, it may be taped to the main part of the loom...if not you'll obviously need the 140 engine loom. PCM will probably need re-programmed to 140 spec as it won't know the 140 injectors and electronic turbo actuator are there.

You don't need the pump.

Assuming you're not changing between the early Denso system and the later system used from 2014.

All fwd have the same pump.

All 4 cyl rwd have the same pump.

The ecu is of two forms up to 2014, one for use with particulate filters and one for use without.

115s may have 140 injectors fitted from the factory. Ford fitted a small volume injector on the 90PS engiens and a high volume one on the 140PS engines, the 115PS engies got whatever was to hand as it will work with either.

Notice a trend there ? not too big and not too small

So mines a Euro 4 2009 2.2 FWD. Limited. Single side load door. Sorry all... :oops: :oops: :? please forgive.

With the vtn turbo giving more problems then the standard one would you be better off getting martinX to do his Magic .

Not sure mine has the correct injectors in as I believe some skulduggery has gone on with my van

I wouldn't worry about injectors ,
I put 100ps injectors in ma 130 and was no difference in performance
