Foot off clutch and she’s fine...

Think it’s supposed to do that my mk6 did if clutch pedal is pushed down it’s out of drive clutch slip is when you’re driving and the revs go up and the speed doesn’t.

Just feels weird that it would do that, it felt like it did that in drive on way back from service on Friday, felt like she was slipping under load at 2-3k...
I know the release bearing is noisey from time to time in neutral too...
I think for bit of piece of mind I’m going to replace the clutch, just finding someone decent to do a proper job for once...
Clutch was replaced when engine fitted 50k ago...

It shouldn’t slip when driving unless you ride the clutch

Clutch should last longer than 50k....I only have 165k km (102k miles) on my original clutch and it still feels like new....no DMF rattles etc...

I know you both are right, and no I don’t ride the clutch, sometimes it feels like the pedal fails to release the last 5-10%, well it sticks then releases, but I know the release bearing is a lil noisey at times in neutral, press it down a few times and it’s fine..
Maybe it’s just me, shall try give her a proper blast on weekend see if clears anything, mainly my head...
