did you find it?

If you have a single battery, slide the drivers seat all the way forward, you'll see a flat black plastic panel with a clip in the corners.

pull the flap up and you'll see the battery.

If you have twin batteries, the cover is different.....slide the seat back and you'll see a black plastic knob in the center of a panel, twist it 90 degrees and remove it. Then slide the cover forwards towards the pedals. slide the seat forwards now and you'll see the batteries.

Hi Nighthawk, Yes i have found it i have the single battery as you describe, what a good place to hide a battery! better than under the bonnet in damp & Draught? thank you for all your help on this subject, i now feel at ease with the filter situation! regards Geoff.
