2004 ford transit locking issue

Hi, don't know if anyone can help but my transit van will lock then unlock itself immediately when I go to lock it, I've changed the drivers side door locking mechanism and side loading door locking mechanism. If I hold the locking lever in for long enough it will eventually lock the side door and rear doors but not the passenger or front door. any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, I have almost the same problem;
Since I bought the van it only opened and closed with the key, I still have to figure out how to get the remote working ( yes I’ve changed the battery)
Since 2 weeks if you close it it will immediately reopen all doors.
Sometimes when you try a lot they will close but not the passenger door so checked the door mechanism but doesn’t seem to be the problem either. I figured that I could maybe just not put the plug back and close it manually from the inside, but when I did that and tried to lock the doors again they would all unlock again immediately, except off course the passenger door.

The doors unlock because the system "thinks" a door is open. One or more of the lock mechanisms is not well...or the wiring to it is not well.

I had this. Check the wiring looms that go from the body through to the back doors. It’s a weak spot and they get a fair bit of abuse.
