MK7 crankshaft seal gap

Postby 86kotek » Sat Apr 24, 2021 4:59 pm

I had a little bit of a leak from crankshaft seal and timing cover, replaced both but now I have a nasty gap at the bottom of the seal. I followed Haynes manual instructions
Aftermarket parts and Iam wondering is this a bad timing cover or did I do something wrong?
Crankshaft is not bent
