Missing piece from coolant system, can't identify!

I was changing my fuel filter and suddenly my elbow was getting sprayed with engine coolant. Something has snapped off and I can't find the piece! Do you know what has gone missing and is there a quick repair to get me to work tomorrow ? Would be v grateful

It was the return line to the coolant tank! Been a f*** and missed it. Glued on the snapped stem with epoxy.. hopefully that holds till a replacement comes.

it did not hold!
I replaced it, also have a spare aftermarket mk7 thermostat housing as seller sent two by mistake. if anyone wants it i'm happy to send for cost of postage
