Why is it when you go into dtc it says successful reading, no error codes found, but previous page shows otherwise?
This is done with ignition on engine off, does we need to do a read with engine on?

Ignore that, my learning is bad lol
Only codes I see coming up are
Both rear wheel speed sensors
Rain sensor open circuit, mainly cos someone’s fitted poverty spec screen
Both front brake wear indicators, again, cos they ain’t connected, well, they ain’t got plugs on them..
Oh and my battery is toast…

So ordering new battery, but alas, that dosnt show why the van doesn’t want to Rev or run past 1k rpm, when it does it coughs and splutters and when goes back to idle cuts out…
Plus the eml light is still on…

Cheers Richard, means a lot bro
Right done a few lives, the frp seems to fluctuate from 20k to 90k, that’s on tick over, tho when it goes to highest she will then Rev up on her own to clear it then back to 20k

Forgot to say…
After she did all this and cleared herself, when you go to put your foot on the gas she hesitates and the frp drops to 8k…
Definitely got an issue in this area I believe…

I believe if the prv or scv are shot it doesn’t throw up a code, I may be wrong.

Go into the pid and select fuel rail pressure then run the van with that running and see what your rail pressure is, think it’s meant to be around 33,000 kpa

Idiot, I should read things  if your frp is fluctuating then you definitely need a new prv and scv, only buy genuine Ford though.

So they spose to be on 33k, thought it was throwing up when it was running upto 100k on its own…
Pfjones does the scv but not the prv, so will order that and see about finding a genuine ford prv

Yeh the revs go with the flow, ie
20kpa they sit on 800, they will still sit on 800 revs while the pressure climbs to 90k
Then she will Rev to 2.5k rpm to clear it, back to 800rpm and 20kpa…
When you gas it after that she drops from 20kpa to 8kpa…

Can’t think who this wise man was….

Come on andz, I’m learning….lol
Nope, Speedo working and milometer shows mileage too..

First thought this problem was going to be injectors hence went to see Vantuner back in March, tho this problems been mainly hunting on tick over, then this problem started a few weeks ago, hence iv not gone anywhere, as the van just lacks on drive ability, tho atm the hunting’s gone lol..
Only does this fault after a few minutes of starting,
Yes I’m going to ask a stoopid question, can someone show pics of the prv and scv, I know what’s coming in the post when I order one, just clarify my head when they turn up..
